AI study management for Korea's managed study halls
Saebom Study Hall (새봄면학관) runs a managed study hall in Suwon, Korea, and builds the software that runs it: attendance, focus tracking, AI planner review with Claude, and reports for parents.
The problem
A managed study hall (관리형 독서실) is a supervised self-study center where high-school students study after school. Owners promise parents discipline and progress, but most of the work is manual: checking attendance, calling parents, and reading students' handwritten study planners one by one.
Product
Students do not chat with the AI freely. Claude's output is shown inside the app, and staff supervise it.
Traction
Next
Today the study hall is open to students of our own math academy, Saebom Math, so we can validate the system with students we already know. Next, we plan to open it to outside students, and then offer Saebom as a subscription service to other study halls. About 2,000 study halls are registered with Korean education offices.
